First, what is the "RAPTURE" of the Saints, and who are being taken up to heaven by Jesus? - Then, we will get into Luke 21 to see that the THIRD TEMPLE shall be built...as outlined by Old Testament Prophet Daniel and New Testament writings by Matthew and Mark.
The term "rapture" is derived from the Latin word "rapturo," meaning "caught up" or "snatched away."
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17- "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
"The dead in Christ" are all those who died believing that God told them about a "resurrection" promised.....and they are all those from Adam to Abraham to Moses to everyone who died before the thief on the cross who believed that Jesus was the Christ - The Messiah. He is the first to gain access into heaven.
I have to keep clarifying to those who do not study the Bible because the human mind rejects many things unless proven.
The Apostle Paul wrote, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" - 2 Corinthians 5:8. This tells all those who have trusted Christ (the Messiah) as their Lord & Savior are ushered into heaven when they die.
So, how do we know that Old Testament prophets like David are not yet in heaven and won't be until the rapture takes place? Glad you asked!

David, along with Kink Solomon and all others are buried in the ground - awaiting the day of the Great Resurrection of the Saints.
1 Kings 2:10 - "So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David."
1 Kings 11:43 - "And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father
King David said this in Psalm 16:8-11
