We now know that Iran is planning to develop a nuclear bomb, and that they want to "wipe Israel off the Map". We also know that Israel is ready to do a pre-emptive strike on Iran (likely Tehran) when Iran does have a nuclear bomb. and we know that israel has spies within Iran to determine when that time will be.
we also know that Israel plans to built=d a "third temple" on the top of Mount Zion.
But, we now need to know what God said over 2000 years ago in the New Testament Book of Luke about a third temple.
Luke, by the way, was not an apostle of Jesus. He was a physician and a friend of Jesus, and he wrote the Book of Acts and the Book of Luke. He tells us that his writings deal with his eye witness accounts and he prided himself of getting facts correct. In Luke 1:1, he states, "Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. 2 They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples.[a] 3 Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write an accurate account for you, so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught."
Before I get into Luke Chapter 21, I should tell you what the Old Testament prophet DANIEL wrote. DANIEL 11:31:
“Satan's army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration."
Matthew says this about Daniel's prophecy in Matthew 24:15 - "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation,' described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand)."
See WHO standing in the Holy Place (the Third Temple) to desecrate it? The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica in 2nd Thessalonians 2:1-6 - "Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. 2 Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. 3 Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed (SATAN) —the one who brings destruction. 4 He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God."
5 Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? 6 And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes."
What is holding Satan back now? What is restraining him?
2nd Thessalonians 2:7- "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he (God's Holy Spirit) who now restrains it will do so until he (Satan) is out of the way."
Matthew 24: 21-22 - "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. - And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
