Right now, in 2024, the only two major edifices on top of Mount Zion are the "Dome of The Rock" and the al Aqsa Mosque - third holiest shrine of Arab Muslims.  The Dome of the Rock is also controlled by Arab Muslims. 

 Israel captured te Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip (where current day escalations and war has broken out), and they captured the West Bank, the old City of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

It has been the goal of the Arab world, Iran in particular, to destroy Israel and "drive them into the sea".

So, how did the Arabs gain control over the top of Mount Zion where the Jew's Holy Temple was once built - then destroyed in 70 A.D.?

Here's how the Arabs got control over the top of Mount Zion.  In 1967, Israel - out of the blue - was attacked by Egypt, Syria and Jordan.  History demonstrates that Arabs and Jews have been enemies basically forever.  Israel, however, did not become a legitimate state or nation until 1948, and what prompted that was the world witnessed the holocaust where Germany (under Hitler rule) killed over six million Jews.

In 1967, part of the Arab world attacked Israel without provocation, but the end result was that God not only protected Israel, He made them victorious over their Arab enemies - IN SIX SHORT DAYS!
